—————————————–

Eric Schmidt: Google Will Give Higher Rankings to Content Tied to Verified Profiles“算是洩露了Google的機密，不過也算是另外一種型式替Google Plus打廣告。

The post Authorship Markup與搜尋引擎排名 first appeared on SEO研究院.

The Google +1 Button Has No Direct Effect On Rankings“說到~ Google’s +1s do not have a direct effect on a site’s ranking in search results.

Power Searching With Google” hangout on Google+ 的影片，其中有一段關於這個問題的解釋。

Matt Cutts

“In the short term, we’re still going to have to study and see how good the signal is, so right now, there’s not really a direct effect where if you have a lot of +1s, you’ll rank higher. But there are things like, we have an authorship proposal, where you can use nice standards to markup your webpage, and you’ll actually see a picture of the author right there, and it turns out that if you see a picture of the author, sometimes you’ll have higher click through, and people will say, ‘oh, that looks like a trusted resource.’ So there are ways that you can participate and sort of get ready for the longer term trend of getting to know not just that something was said, but who said it and how reputable they were.”

“I think if you look further out in the future and look at something that we call social signals or authorship or whatever you want to call it, in ten years, I think knowing that a really reputable guy – if Dan has written an article, whether it’s a comment on a forum or on a blog – I would still want to see that. So that’s the long-term trend.”

“It’s just the case that that picture is just more likely to attract attention. It’s just a little more likely to get the clicks, and you now, it’s almost like an indicator of trust.”

“The idea is you want to have something that everybody can participate in and just make these sort of links, and then over time, as we start to learn more about who the high quality authors are, you could imagine that starting to affect rankings.”

(SERP)? first appeared on SEO研究院.

The post 什麼是Author Rank?

How to Prepare for AuthorRank and Get the Jump on Google“說到，如果Google可以分辨網路上的識別，那麼就能夠盡可能的消除垃圾內容。

—————————————–
The post 什麼是Author Rank?

The post SEO與Social Signal:Google如何使用社交訊號? first appeared on SEO研究院.

How Much Do Social Signals Play Into Google Rankings?“則開始疑問，到底Google使用多少的社交訊號來當成評等的因素呢?

What Social Signals Do Google & Bing Really Count?“看到解釋，或是參考這篇”Correlation vs. Causation“的說明。

Eric Schmidt Confirms: The Social Signal is a Ranking Factor“又說，Eric說社交訊號是一個ranking factor ….

Social Signals are Taking Over Backlinking in SEO, Daniel Tan Speculated“說的，社交訊號似乎已經超越連結訊號。

The post SEO與Social Signal:Google如何使用社交訊號? first appeared on SEO研究院.

Agent Rank

Google Agent Rank and Reputational Scores…It’s About Content and Writers and Panda!“則更清楚的指出，Google的專利Agent Rank，說到了下列的情況:

“The name of the writer can be used to influence the ranking of web search results by indicating the writer responsible for a particular content piece.”

“a writer that is responsible for an entertainment magazine could have a high reputation score for content related to celebrity news, but a low reputation score for content related to professional medical advice.”

“reputational scores are relatively difficult to increase and relatively easy to decrease, creating a disincentive for a writer to place its reputation at risk by endorsing content inappropriately.”

“the reputational score assigned to the particular writer, should depend not just on the number of references to the content signed by the particular writer, but on the importance of the referring documents and other writers.”

Agent Rank, or Google Plus as an Identity Service or Digital Signature“提供更多參考資料，認為Google使用Authorship markup的可能性很大，並且這個Agent rank會與Pagerank共同來影響文章內容的品質分數。

The post 什麼是Agent Rank? 探討Social Signal與SEO的關係 first appeared on SEO研究院.

The post 34%的Facebook的流量來自搜尋引擎 first appeared on SEO研究院.

Study: 27% Of Referral Traffic To Facebook Pages Comes From Google“提供PageLever的研究報告顯示，Facebook的流量中，34%來自搜尋引擎，而其中Google導入的流量就佔了27.57% …

從這個數據可以看到導引流量到Facebook粉絲頁面依序為: Google(27.57%)、Yahoo(4.11%)、Youtube(3.1%)、Bing(2.3%)

The post 34%的Facebook的流量來自搜尋引擎 first appeared on SEO研究院.

Facebook is Good, But StumbleUpon Rules through Freshness“提到了，新鮮的話題讓使用者喜歡使用它的服務，你可以在StumbleUpon內找到意想不到的有趣內容連結，這些新鮮的話題不斷的被討論以及轉貼 …

The post StumbleUpon與Facebook first appeared on SEO研究院.

The post Google Realtime Search(即時搜尋)已經消失? first appeared on SEO研究院.

It’s strange to see that Google had to disable a service to add support for a new site.

The post Google Realtime Search(即時搜尋)已經消失? first appeared on SEO研究院.

Over 2/3 of Google+ users are ready to say goodbye to Facebook“，Facebook確實應該害怕了。

Google+?

Google+?

Google+?
The post Facebook的搜尋佈局 是否可能對Google產生威脅? first appeared on SEO研究院.

Visual tags for search results generated from social network information“，在2011年2月15日通過，他是延續”Method of sharing social network information with existing user databases“這篇專利而來。

New Facebook Patent: the Huge Implications of Curated Search [Update]“顯示，該專利是Facebook向Friendster於去年購買的七個專利與十一個專利應用之ㄧ(總共花了美金$39.5M)。

The post Facebook的搜尋佈局 是否可能對Google產生威脅? first appeared on SEO研究院.
